Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the Programme Management Framework consisting of PMO Structure, Roles & Responsibilities, Templates (e.g. Progress Reports, MoMs, Risk / Issue Log, Budget / Financial Tracking, etc.) and PMO Policies and Procedures
• Responsible for formulating the Programme Implementation Plan (under the supervision of the Programme Director; with the assistance of the respective Leads)
• Responsible for Critical Path Analysis and maintenance / update of Programme Plan as and when required
• Responsible for Implementation Budget tracking and escalation of any issues
• Responsible for continuous Progress Monitoring and Reporting including the updating of Progress Reports, Issue / Risk Logs, etc. In addition, responsible for coordinating / facilitating Progress Review meetings with Project Sponsor / Director; Steering Committee, any other review board as and when required
• Responsible for maintaining Document Version Control of all PMO Products
• Provide Coaching / Mentoring to Implementation Team as and when required

Requirements

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business
• MBA preferred but not essential
• Professional Project Management Certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE 2) desirable

EXPERIENCE:
• 8 – 10 years in a similar role; at least 3 years in managing large scale implementations
• Exposure to the Construction / Real Estate Sectors
preferred
• Arabic Speaker preferred

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
• Extensive knowledge of Project Management Tools, Techniques, and Methodologies
• Extensive knowledge of applicable software applications (e.g. MS Project)
• Computer Skills (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
