The Role

My client a large well established Insurance Company is currently seeking a Senior Underwriting Manager to join their dynamic team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be required to manage the overall underwriting process of Commercial lines for the UAE.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible to underwrite risk in excess of Branch Underwriting Limits and as per Authority Matrix.
• Manage the Underwriting team efficiently to promote profitable growth of the UAE branches.
• Contribute to the growth of the UAE book of business.
• Conduct claims analysis.

Requirements


Requirements

• Masters Degree in any discipline, though an Insurance qualification is a must.
• At least 7-10 years relevant experience in a similar role in the insurance industry in the GCC.
• Fluency in English, though Arabic will be an advantage.
