Senior Web Developer

Job description / Role

Our client is one of the largest professional services companies in the World and they are currently seeking a Senior Web Developer for their office in the UAE.

Working with the Project stakeholders on a daily basis, as the Web Developer you will be responsible for applying current graphic design and .NET technologies (ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net) to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals.

You will be required to Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing MOSS portals and participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. You will be working

Responsibilities
- Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT -Markets; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using ASP.Net, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2010 and new 2013 and Implementation of portals, SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards. Asp.net application integration skills in SharePoint 2010 platform is required
- Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude required.
- Update home pages, menus, images, as well as post campaigns in Social media websites and micro blogs
- Administrate intranet, portals, websites, social media sites and microblogs etc.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired
- E-business, digital product technology or ecommerce is a plus
- C# / ASP.NET 3.5 4.0 Web-Based Development and SharePoint 2007 / 2010 / 2013 Development (3+ years experience)
- SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / R2 Database Development and T-SQL / Stored Procedures
- Joins / Triggers / Functions / Indexes, etc.
- SSRS 2005 / 2008 / R2 SQL Server Reporting Services
- Strong Excel Services knowledge - Data Manipulation / Extraction / Reporting
- Create, Import, Customize and distribute InfoPath forms. Manage views, database and controls
- Client-Side Scripting and MOSS Installation / Configuration / Setup / Customization
- Create Custom Master Pages in Site Templates
- SharePoint WorkFlow Customizations / Development / Architecture
- SharePoint Designer Create Customized WebParts / Functions
- Practical applications of SEO techniques
- Big 4 experience essential
