Senior Well Log Analyst

Job description / Role

Salary: Negotiable depending on region - Estimate UAE up to AED 40,000 Inc acc family status + benefits and incentives

Our client is a well known multi-national giant in the Oil and Gas Sector, they are seeking experienced Senior Well Log Analysts to join their ever growing team. They have roles currently available in:

- Abu Dhabi

As the Senior Well Log Analyst you will be responsible for delivering data interpretation services to the business units and maintaining our client internal and external data repositories as well as data loading, data, manipulation, naming standards, archiving, and you will be required to accurately process critical reservoir data.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Processing and Analysis of Casedholedata.
- Maintain the company expected level of log and data quality control.
- Provide technical support to both internal and external customers.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Research Well & Field history.
- Quality control log data.
- Load data files (LAS,LIS,DLIS, or client formats) from varying media to well log editing software (LAS,LIS,DLIS).

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering or relevant.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Log Analysis with a Service Company or Operator.
- Experience of standard Log Analysis Software packages and methods.
- Familiar with casedhole and openhole data Analysis.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Be a self-starter.
- Committed to be trained to an advanced level.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact with peers in Oil Companies, discuss and disseminate client logging programs and technology applications through our clients organization.
- Familiar with Emerande / Plato software.
- Good Presentation and Technical Report writing skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to speak Arabic an advantage
