Senior Windows Platform Engineer

Job description / Role

To administer, monitor, manage, install and trouble shooting Windows Servers and Applications (Active Directory, Exchange servers, FTP, DNS, DHCP Services, Citrix Administration, Vmware & Hyper V Administration, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Operation Manager Centre). To administer, monitor, manage, install and trouble shooting virtual environment over multiple virtual environments (VMware, MS Hyper V, Redhat and others).

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installation of Windows Servers Operating Systems.
- Operating Systems Installations and Configuration.
- Designing, implementation and operation Active Directory, Exchange , DNS and DHCP Servers.
- Design and implement of Windows Network Infrastructure.
- Design and implement and Operate Domains.
- Controllers, DNS as per the requirement.
- User Management and assign permission on the Network resources.
- Domain Users Creation and giving Privilege to Users.
- Manage User privileges, profiles and auditing Users.
- Grant Users access to resources on the Network.
- Managing and Monitoring Windows Servers.
- Use of Microsoft Operation Manager to Manage all Windows Servers and monitor their functionality and performance.
- Monitor and Check functionality.
- Check Event Viewer for OS errors Security Patches.
- Applying Security Patches on Servers after testing them.
- Backup and Restore.
- Backup for the Data in the Data Centre.
- Create Group Policies.
- Create Group Policies for Users and Computer as per the Security requirements.
- Tasks Schedule: Schedule Tasks on Servers.
- Performance monitor.
- Monitor bottlenecks of Servers.
- Manage and Operate Blade server systems.
- Manage and Operate Virtual environment over multiple Vitualization software.

Requirements

- Diploma / Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Microsoft Systems Engineer
- 3 Yrs experience asof experience as Systems Administrator.
