CH2M HILL Senior/Principal Pavements Engineer - Dubai, UAE
Job Purpose:
Pavement Engineering within the MENAI is becoming a key aspect to clients both internal and external where they are looking for long term added value solutions to pavement management, design and material selection.
CH2M HILL's Asset Management and Materials Group, part of the Transportation Business Group is the internal centre of excellence for materials technology, and provides expert input to a wide range of projects. This includes design and build, analytical pavement design, material selection and design, pavement assessment, condition assessment and valuation, and asset management for highways, ports and airfields across the Middle East, North Africa and India. Asset management is a rapidly growing area of work for an increasing number of clients.
As a result, we are looking for an ambitious and dynamic individual with a desire to help drive growth of internal and external profile and further success of the Asset Management and Materials team.
The core function of this position is to lead technical elements of pavement design and assessment, using a range of pavement analysis tools. Experience in pavement and materials inspection and testing is also required, including FWD and automated condition surveys.
Project work includes support to highways / ports / airports maintenance contracts, as well as new pavement designs and resurfacing schemes in the region. Providing consultancy technical advice for materials design and selection and the investigation of pavement failures.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Reporting to the AM&M Team Leader, Dubai
Sufficient experience and ability to work independently
Track record in delivering tasks and projects on time and budget
Working within the pavement team and with other teams
Personal time management
Requirements
