Service Advisor - Al Futtaim Honda - Sharjah

Al-Futtaim Honda, part of the Automotive Division of Al-Futtaim Group, is the sole distributor for Honda vehicles, pre-owned cars, motorcycles, marine engines, power products and parts. Recognized as one of the largest independent Honda distribution companies in the world.

Al-Futtaim Honda is supported by a network of 10 modern showrooms and 11 aftersales facilities located across the UAE. The flagship Honda Dubai Festival City showroom was officially confirmed by Honda as the largest Honda showroom in the world.This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Service Advisors to work for Honda in our Sharjah Showroom.

In this role you will have following responsibilities:

* Receive Customer products for Service/ Repair Jobs and raise service orders
* Provide detailed explanation on jobs to be carried out (and technical justification for additional repairs, if any)
* Provide cost estimate in coordination with Parts and obtain approval from customers
* Open job cards and Schedule/Distribute work to technicians
* Ensure all parts are issued prior to technicians leaving for onsite jobs
* Coordinate with onsite technicians and customers for next appointments
* Raise special orders for parts not available and follow up and keep customer informed
* Track WIPs
* Payment collections, closing of invoices and handing over of products to customers after repairs
* Follow up payments of credit customers and ensure collection within stipulated time
* Window person between Al Futtaim Honda and Honda Motor Co. for Service.
* Improve warranty function and increase warranty revenue motorcycle (MC) and power products (PP)
* Continuously monitor Honda Warranty Honda Technical Info (HTIs)
* Liaise with Sales Team to identify stocks on hand and stocks in the market to take up warranty matter with Honda as per the Honda procedures
* Identify technical problems and correlate with (HTIs) to raise warranty claims and follow up with Principals to close the same
* Raise QIC reports when faced with new technical problems and follow up with principals to settle the same
* Coordinate with National Service Division, Finance and Honda Motor Co. for settling of warranty claims and reimbursements
* Perform cash desk operations for MC and PP workshop and counter sales thereby reducing customer downtime
* Prepare Insurance claims related quotations
* Follow up with Insurance companies for claims approvals and payment collection
* Promote accessories sales to customers

Requirements

You will have the following skills and experience:

* Technically competent, with ability to understand customer needs and requirements
* Ability to provide established standards of Customer Service through diagnostic ability, assessment of repairs/maintenance and most importantly quality customer care
* Strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with administrative competence vital for this role
* Computer literate with a solid understanding of Microsoft applications
* Ability to advise customers on the required jobs in a timely, professional manner
* Proactive approach when dealing with customer complaints, with ability to resolve discrepancies and issues appropriately.

* Preferably with 3 years experience as Service Advisor/Service Consultant in any motorcycle or automotive industry
* Strong communication skills
