Service AdvisorÂ isÂ the first contact in the Workshop for a customer and provide a window to the workshop.Â Job holder should be an image builder for the Service Department and present a picture of faith and confidence.
The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
Ensure condition of vehicle is thoroughly checked and discrepancies noted and communicated to customer while receiving the vehicle ; and record any customer requests.
Ensure proper delivery of the vehicle to the customer and clearly communicate to the customer the jobs carried out.
During service : Follow-up to ensure timely delivery of the vehicle to customer.
Post service : Check performance and repair quality of car.
Between Service : Ensure customer is reminded about the next service due.
Ensure effective personal and telephonic communication with customers regarding charges, approvals and negotiations and ensure equally clear and concise communication with foreman regarding job.
TECHNICAL DECISION MAKING
Establish and confirm customer complaints and decide upon normal / abnormal condition of the vehicle.
Provide estimates of simple repairs to customer and negotiate repair charges (and service charges, if required)
You will have the following skills, knowledgeÂ and experience:
A. JOB KNOWLEDGE
Minimum Qualification / Training: Technical school / Certificate/ Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Eng.
Must have broad based knowledge to service as a reliable consultant and be able to provide up-to-date technical information in response to customer inquiries. eg.
Regarding proper operation, maintenance and care of vehicle.
Regarding breakdown prevention
Special Job Knowledge / Skills: Read, Write and Speak English fluently. Preferably can speak Arabic. Computer literate and possess driving skills would be a must.
Interpersonal Skills:Â Possess communication skills (personal & distant), dynamic by nature and well groomed / presentable personality with a positive attitude towards Customer Service, building good company image.
C.EXPERIENCE required for the job: 3-5 years of experience in a reputed workshop
