Automall's core business is the purchase and sale of used vehicles both to retail and trade customers, with vehicles ranging from economy to prestige. This is conducted through 8 locations across the emirates by a dedicated team of over 160 Associates and trained Sales Consultants to make sure customers make the right decision when buying a used car. It's all about the people and thus our associates remain our biggest investment.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to be based within our Automall Operations, based in Dubai.

JOB PURPOSE:

To receive customer vehicles and note down exact requirements and concerns to create service order, follow-up with workshop for additional report, prepare estimate with correct job explanation and get the approval for the job, update customer for any delay and deliver the vehicle with clear and complete explanation of the job carried out.

* Receive customer vehicles for service and repair jobs and raise repair orders in SAP.
* To provide detailed explanations on jobs to be carried out on vehicles.
* Ensure that the customers are clearly explained about the additional jobs and prior approval is taken as per SOP before the job is been carried out.
* To make every effort to resolve customer complaints and ensure that the customer has positive ownership experience.
* Raise special orders for parts which is available and follow up for the same and keep customers informed of the status.
* Ensure the set targeted number of vehicles received (service order opened) and achieve budgeted target on revenue.
* Ability to sell value added services, tyres, accessories etc.
* Ensure follow up and receive payment from credit customers within stipulated time
* Monitor service orders (WIP) and ensure timely billing
* Follow up with the Workshop Controller/ Supervisor on the vehicles.
* Ensure that customers are updated on the job progress and vehicle is delivered at promised time.

Requirements

You will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
A Degree/ Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: At least 3 years' experience as a Service Advisor/Service Consultant, within a reputable automotive dealership/similar.

Job-Specific Skills:
Technically competent, with the ability to understand the customer needs and requirements.
Ability to advise customers on the required jobs in a timely, professional manner.
Ability to provide established standards of customer service through understanding technical concerns, assessment of repairs/maintenance and most importantly quality customer care.
Strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with administrative competence vital for this role.
Computer literate with a solid understanding of Microsoft applications
Ability to sell value added services, accessories etc.
Proactive approach when dealing with customer complaints. Should have the ability to resolve disputes and issues.

Behavioural Competencies: Ability to handle high level of activity, Emotional Maturity to handle and satisfy internal and external customers, Sensitivity to work and excel in a multicultural work environment. Ability to remain focussed on the set monthly targets and to be self-driven to achieve and excel them.
