FAMCO is an ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company.We are looking to recruit a Service Advisor to join our FAMCO team in Abu Dhabi.Â
The Service Advisor will be an effective interface between the customer and workshop by understanding customers repair requirements, raising accurate repair orders and implementing workshop processes to ensuring timely repairs as per quality standards.

The Key Accountabilities of this role will include;

*Receiving customers and conducting first level diagnosis of the requested repair work and details the same effectively.

*Opening of accurate job cards detailing all requirements and ensuring the appropriate technician is assigned the work through the shop foreman.

*Tracking each job to ensure its completion in the prescribed time and updating the customer regularly on the status of the repair job.

*Ensuring the job cards are received after completion of work are accurate and contain all the required documents before closing.

*Generating invoices and follow up with customers for LPOs.

*Preparation of statement of accounts on a daily basis for cash/cheque sales.

*Ensure timely follow up's and updating of recalls.

*Maintaining and updating all service files and reports on product, customer and accounts to ensure effective follow up.

*Ensure collection of parts replaced under warranty & preparation for warranty inspection with required information.

*Create & follow-up of Service Planning Schedules on behalf of the customer using the latest relevant systems.

*Planning of service work to achieve maximum utilisation of Technicians, Workbays & Equipment.

Requirements

Suitable candidates should have the following skills and qualifications;

*Qualified Mechanic or sufficient relevant technical awareness of vehicle systems.

*Knowledge of spoken Arabic will be advantageous.

*Fluency in spoken & written english.

*Operating knowledge of computers.

*Be familiar and have worked to ISO9001 standards

*Customer care and basics of automobile service and repairs

*3 years in the workshop/service department of a major manufacturer's franchise, Volvo service training preferred.

*The candidate should have good sense of responsibility and high level of interpersonal as well as leadership skills. Must have a degree of maturity, excellent organizational skills, forward thinking, culturally aware and positive.
