Service Advisor (X3) - AF Motors

Al-Futtaim Motors occupies the pre-eminent position of the largest distributor of automotive products in the Emirates, and leads the rapid development of automobile business in the UAE, while continuing to contribute to Toyota's worldwide growth.

Besides Toyota, AF Motors also holds exclusive franchises for some of the world's top automotive products like Hino - Japan's leading heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, Toyota forklifts and BT warehouse equipment.

To provide full back-up support to these world-class franchises, AF Motors have an established network of showrooms and service & parts centers throughout the UAE.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Service Advisors to work for one of our primary automotive business Al-Futtaim Motors in Dubai. The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
* Receiving customer vehicles for service and repair jobs and raising repair orders on internal system with regards to the Body shop
* Providing detailed explanations and technical justifications for additional repairs with cost estimates and approval from customers
* Regularly following up with workshop controllers and technicians on vehicle status, updating customers regularly on progress and ensuring delivery of vehicles within proposed time frame.
* Raising Warranty approvals and service orders.
* Raising special orders for parts not available and following up to keep the customer updated.
* Preparing invoices on internal systems and arranging for active delivery of vehicles.
* Following up payments of credit customers and ensuring collection within stipulated time.
* Regularly monitoring of orders raised and ensures billing is on time.
* Conducting post service follow- up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

* Technically competent, with ability to understand customer needs and requirements.
* Experience in bodyshop is an advantage.
* Ability to provide established standards of Customer Service through diagnostic ability and assessment of repairs/maintenance.
* Strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with administrative competence are vital for this role.
* Computer literate with solid understanding of Microsoft applications.
* Ability to advise customers on the required jobs in a timely and professional manner.
* Flair for selling value added services, service contracts and accessories.
* Proactive approach when dealing with customer complaints, with ability to resolve discrepancies and issues appropriately.
* Trade related certificate/diploma, and/or
* 4-6 years related experience.
