The RoleThe RoleResponsible to provide integrated end-to-end Service Assurance for entire Telco & IT Infrastructure. SA Engineer will be responsible to carry out architectural design, planning, implementation & operational tasks of Telecom Fault & Configuration Management platforms. Inter-work with all other OSS functions in order to provide the Service Assurance function. Work closely with operations & business teams to understand their requirements & vision and implement the same in various OSS Service Assurance Tools. Role Profile: Provide Service Assurance for Entire Telco & IT infrastructure Responsible for all managing all Responsible for smooth rollout & operations of Fault and Configuration Management Services. Carry out day to day administrational work on the systems Run Daily Health Check to ensure smooth operation Deploy automated monitoring and management tool on all Telco infrastructure Prepare periodic reports on fault and configuration management Work closely with Operations team to understand their requirement, provide solution and roll out Contact the vendors to resolve applications misbehaviour. Follow proper escalation process to escalate issues to line manager Take regular backups to ensure disaster recovery of systems Play key role in various OSS projects Troubleshoot day to day issues in the systems Ensure updated Documentation for all relevant systems and provide management reporting as needed Communicate with vendors to escalate and solve issues Design, develop and use Operations Policies for smooth operation of OSS Service Assurance Services. Regularly Meet with Operations teams to understand their concerns and develop action plans and strategy to address them. Planning OSS Service Assurance function’s roadmap and strategy as per the prevailing Telecom technologies like Fixed line, IP based services, WIMX, GSM, 3G etc. Fault management Problem management & Trouble-ticketing Configuration & Inventory management Work order management Performance management Service Quality management Service Level management ITSM Familiar with commonly used Telecom technologies: o GSM o 3G o IN o GPRS o Transmission o IP Networks Familiar with other systems (BSS, ESS, IT & IS) connected to the OSS o Pre-paid Billing o Post-paid Billing o Customer Care o Order management o GIS management o IT management o IS management o ERP o DWH |
RequirementsRequirementsQualification: Graduate in Electrical & Electronics or Telecommunications/Computer engineering. Certifications in relevant Telecom/IT technologies is also a requirement. Experience: At least 5 years experience in the same field |
