Job description / Role
- To manage resources to meet daily delivery schedules and business requirements for these services within the prescribed budget.
- To liaise with clients offering advice and knowledge regarding service issues ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- To develop and maintain an effective working relationship so that Client needs are understood and the company reputation enhanced.
- To foster an environment of continuous improvement to maximise customer satisfaction.
- To lead and develop skilled teams to meet operational and business needs in a customer focused manner.
- To support the team in continually reviewing operational procedures to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Develop & support positive team ethos within FM working group
- Ensure that resources in the employed team are managed to ensure contractual obligations are met, (eg management of annual leave, absence and performance etc).
- To manage staff induction, training, and performance reviews of direct reports to ensure they are competent to meet the contractual requirements.
- To manage effective financial forecasting so that department budgets are achieved.
- To collate, analyse and review information. i.e. budgets, roster hours and forecasts in order to monitor and report on performance. Management of meetings as required.
- To continually audit and review service areas to ensure high standards and costs are achieved to drive though efficiencies and improved practices inline with the Business Improvement Model.
- To carry out the policies and procedures of my client & Host Establishment , including: Fire, Health and Safety, Accidents, Security, Infection Control, Complaints, Confidentiality.
- To deputise for the Facility Manager in his/her absence.
- Undertake hands on duties as & when required to achieve team goals.
Requirements
- Excellent Organisational skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to handle issues of high sensitivity
- Considerable experience of working at a Middle Management level
- Total Facilities Management experience
- Extensive & broad management experience within a customer focussed multi-functional service delivery environment, including CAFM systems operation.
