Job description / Role
Building, testing and installation of petroleum applications on Gas Chromatographs and Liquid Chromatographs.
The Service Engineer will be able to understand, build and test the application based on Standardized methods (ASTM, UOP, IP, ISO, etc...) and customized solutions.
Experience with Physical Properties Testing Equipment is a plus.
The service Engineer will be visiting customer to commission, service, install and train the customers on the different analyzers. He/she will be the first focal point to the customer.
Handling all the service calls and helping the customer with any applications questions and trouble shooting. maintaining a data base with all the pending issues.
Willing to travel and learn new things.
Requirements
- The Service Engineer has preferable a Chemical background and experience in the petroleum analyzers, advanced knowledge of petroleum applications and analysis, specifically Gas Chromatography.
- A team player, fast learner and affinity with software: CDS software and application software: DHA, SIMDIS, RGA, NGA, etc.
- Analytical mind set and an initiative taker, a real problem solver.
- Willing to travel, customer friendly and presentable.
- Arabic speaking is a plus, English a must.
- Willing to learn new things and implement them in the field.
