Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- The fleet manager will play a critical role in owning the full breadth of the Pall fleet, managing the storage locations, the movement of the assets, condition of assets and ensuring the footprint / backbone of the business is under control.
- The role is a manager role working with our service partners and distributors and will have a key impact on the growth of our business.
- Liaise with the Service Manager and the Sales team to assess the current level of assets available and apply for new Capex approvals for new assets and secure budgets for asset repairs.
- Track, manage and follow up on Capex and operating budgets to keep the fleet in full service and in alignment with business objectives.
- Establish and maintain the "Asset Passports" and ensure all records are kept up to date in a documented process shared with the rest of the team.
- Act and be the facility manager in Khobar for the Pall Service Centre including the stores, inventory and lab and lead all improvement initiatives as well as HSE and Quality programs with support from the local services, operations and Quality/HSE managers.
- Oversee and coordinate all movement of Pall assets in and out of the Warehouses (HUBS) and other storage facilities - liaises with Service Admin/Logistics/customs (if required), finding the best and most cost effective ways to move assets, and analyses the need/demand/priority of such movement.
- Manage the custodians/security/technicians (if any) assigned by the Warehouse owners
- Manage the maintenance requirements for all assets, and supervises the actual maintenance and tagging of assets.
- Coordinate and Plan with the Service Manager on the schedule of work related to the usage of assets
- Provides all data/info/trends w.r.t the usage of assets (skids, spares/consumables and elements) supporting the CAPEX application
- Visit customers and build external relations to support the sales team with technical and operations expertise to present Pall in the most appropriate way to enable us to win new business.

Requirements

- Engineering degree (preferably mechanical) with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Worked in maintenance/production companies
- Excellent Communication skills
- Self-driver
- Proactive and professional
- To follow relevant legal requirements and the Company Environmental Health & Safety Policy and procedures.
- To keep your work area tidy and free from hazards.
- Report and address any Environmental, Health and Safety incidents or near misses.
- To comply with site EHS regulations during site visits
