From Scaffolding to Elevators and Security Systems to Air-conditioning, Sanityware and Facilities Management, the Al-Futtaim name spells quality & reliability.In this role you will be responsible for supervision, planning and implementation of all Maintenance activity in order to optimize production within safety, legislative, environmental and company requirements. * Responsible for maximizing availability of all plant and equipment, and ensure that the direction of all routine maintenance activities shall be in line with company operating policies and procedures and shall ensure compliance with safety, legislative, environmental and certifying authority requirements. * Responsible for organizing and planning the routine maintenance regime of all customer accounts within safety and budgetary constraints and in liaison with the Maintenance Engineer / Manager. * Responsible for directing the activities of maintenance staff to a high loss control standard in accordance with the company safety regulations and procedures, in order to minimize the risk of personal injury, environmental damage, and asset damage. * Review and rationalize PPM procedures, evaluate and optimize maintenance routines* Carry out Permit to work tasks as Area Authority for designated area and conduct toolbox talks/ safe job analysis as required. * Regularly review and monitor compliance with safe work systems and maintenance procedures. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo be successful in winning this role, the following are the prerequisites: * Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university * 8 to 15 years of experience in which minimum 7 years as a senior technician /Team leader/supervisor in their previous employment. |
