Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Air conditioning technicians and operators required to form part of a specialised team maintaining and operating large tonnage HVAC systems. The positions involve working to a high degree of proficiency to inspect, monitor and repair AC Chillers in various locations in the UAE. Responsibilities include the preparation of reports on the status of the equipment and recommendations to ensure trouble free operation of the machinery. Reporting directly to the service manager or supervisor the operative should also be able to communicate with customers.

Requirements

Should have a sound knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration principles. Must be familiar with large tonnage reciprocating and screw compressors and controls and/or centrifugal equipment. A confident individual capable of working independently under his/her own initiative with minimal supervision. Ex OEM experience is desired and an ability to communicate in English. Computer literate. Must possess a valid drivers licence.

Marinspect was formed in Abu Dhabi in 2006 to bridge the gap between the original manufacturers, building owners and maintenance operatives. The company’s core business is the provision of specialized support services for Air Conditioning Chillers and Refrigeration Plants where higher levels of technical expertise are required.

Marinspect have offices in the UAE and Qatar with over 35 employees who have been recruited from Trane, York or Carrier. They all have localized knowledge of the performance parameters and conditions throughout the region. They are fully qualified and conversant with chiller maintenance procedures of the large tonnage systems which operate in the high humidity/high temperature conditions prevalent in the Gulf countries.
