Job description / Role
Parsons Brinckerhoff is assisting Qatar Rails multibillion planned works to integrate a 4-line 100-station metro, high-speed passenger rail, freight, a people mover and light rail, which once delivered will provide a fast, convenient, world-class, fully integrated railway system for the State of Qatar.
Due to this we are currently looking to recruit a SharePoint Developer to join our PMO team in Doha.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for the design, development and implementation of the program systems to deliver the technical requirements of the program and ensure that the systems are providing the correct level of functionality.
- Responsible for the engagement of program stakeholders to capture the IT requirements to define long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans to improve the overall efficiency of the program through the delivery of technical solutions.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the PMiS to meet the PMO reporting requirements and provide a central portal of information for the PMO and the Program including communications, reports, plans, practices, procedures, standards, guidelines, and methodologies.
- Responsible for performing strategic and technical oversight to ensure that new program solutions or enhancements to the existing IT systems are captured and an appropriate technical solution is designed and delivered.
- Responsible for developing and managing a prioritised project plan to deliver solutions that meet the requirements of the program.
- Responsible for interfacing closely with the Qatar Rail IT department to ensure the timely delivery of the required program IT systems and associated functionality.
- Responsible for representing the program systems position at board level.
- Supports the detailed evaluation on Program change requests that have an impact on the IT deliverables.
- Supports any tactical Value Management sessions that identify, explore and evaluate options ensuring that related program systems methodologies are challenged and identify opportunities to enhance the function and performance.
- Supports in the procurement, testing, commissioning, technical reviews, audits, validation, and verification of the program system deliverables.
- Supports in risk review meetings, recommending strategies and risk responses to minimise the overall impact of the program systems
- Responsible for the production of outline designs of new systems, specifying the operations the system will perform, and the way data will be viewed by the end-user.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SharePoint design and configuration
- Integrating Primavera P6 and SharePoint 2010
- Oracle project modules
- Producing use cases, workflow and system flow designs
- Reporting techniques and dashboards
- Documenting technical requirements
- System testing techniques
- Database design and integration
- Technical writing for System Documentation including System configuration and User Manuals
- System analysis, design and agile development process
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Requirements capture and documenting
