Job description / Role
In your first year at Infusion as a SharePoint Developer you will:
Work with SharePoint 2010 along with internationally recognized experts.
Apply your knowledge to deliver 2-4 mission critical projects/components for one or more of our leading internationally recognized clients.
Requirements
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
University degree or college diploma in Computer Sciences or related major
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Hands on commercial knowledge of SharePoint 2010
Proficient with ASP.NET and C# development in a commercial environment, using a range of technologies (C#, .NET 3.0/3.5, WF, WCF, Silverlight)
Proficient with client scripting technologies (jQuery, Javascript, AJAX)
Understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, the Unified Modeling Language, and software design patterns
Programming in a team environment utilizing a software development life cycle (SDLC) tools such as Visual Studio Team System and Team Foundation Server
Solid understanding of all SharePoint features “out of the box” – how to use and customize “in browser” as well as from tools such as SharePoint Designer.
Understanding of SharePoint feature/solution model to create and deploy customizations such as web parts, list event receivers, content types, list schemas, site page templates, application pages, publishing pages, etc.
Experience programming with the SharePoint object model.
Understanding of the development of InfoPath Forms 2010 and workflow solutions (including deployment of solution and workflow templates).
Experience working with Microsoft Search and the API.
Understanding of site branding including the development of site definitions.
Involved in the development of public facing internet sites using SharePoint publishing features.
Understanding of the new features and capabilities of both SharePoint 2010 and Visual Studio 2010.
Development experience with a relational database – Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, including data access via ADO.NET, Entity Framework, REST, LINQ
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and/or Business Intelligence capabilities of SQL Server.
Exposure to Business Intelligence capabilities of SharePoint, including Performance Point.
New track certifications such as MCTS, MCPD, or MCITP strongly preferred (and/or your desire to achieve and maintain certification). MCTS SharePoint certifications are of special interest to this position.
