The RoleThe RoleWe are recruiting for the permanent position of SharePoint Trainer and Support for a successful international company in Abu Dhabi. Ideal candidate for this job opportunity will be responsible for day to day support and training for the SharePoint community and work as part of the global SharePoint team. SharePoint Trainer will work with business stake holders on collecting requirements for document management, collaboration and other SharePoint – based applications. Ideal candidate will have experience in supporting SharePoint 2010 and Office features and understand their relationship in serving the business needs. Job responsibilities: • Training users on SharePoint environment • Training users on maximizing benefits from the SharePoint platform • Interviewing users and documenting requirements • Resolving all SharePoint issues promptly quickly - escalating as necessary • Creating SharePoint sites and add simple web parts to existing sites • Monitoring utilization of SharePoint and supporting technologies • Monitoring the accessibility and status of SharePoint servers • Managing SharePoint site permissions • Liaising with the extended SharePoint team • Logging issues and tickets in the helpdesk systems • Light SharePoint system adjustments • Light SQL server maintenance • Windows Server administration |
RequirementsRequirements• SharePoint administration Certification • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar • SharePoint 2010 experience • Experience with business and functional analysis • Experience in training other users on SharePoint • Microsoft SQL Server / Windows 8 Server experience • Good understanding of networks • Good understanding of IT and Data Security • Any experience with Software development / .Net development or workflow tools is an advantage |
