We are currently seeking an experienced Shared Services Manager who will oversee and manage the operations of shared services functions (finance functions, HR, IT, supply chain/logistics, procurement, and other corporate functions) with a focus on leading, motivating and developing people while driving value by implementing best practice processes. The position will also ensure that policies, processes and controls are adequate and are consistently executed.

The successful manager will:
- Manage transitions of multiple processes from sending organization to target organization includes articulation of the vision, transition management, knowledge transfer, process re-engineering.
- Apply leading practice end to end process expertise in one or more core functions of finance, HR, IT, supply chain/logistics, procurement or other corporate functions in order to design and implement new re-engineered processes in a Shared Services or Business Process Outsourcing operating model
- Develop shared services operating models including finance functions, HR, IT, supply chain/logistics, procurement, and other corporate functions including governance and service management capabilities, along with the service catalog and service level agreements
- Lead and work collaboratively with client team executives to plan and deliver shared services or global business services solutions
- Promote cooperation, cohesiveness, and communication among individuals within the departments and internal and external customers.
- Guide team through the to-be design of processes, related organization/role design and enabling technologies
- Guide team through operational reporting, service level agreements, and process KPI's, develop detailed work plans, direct project teams, deliver status, set deadlines, manage to budget, meet or exceed quality standards
- Guide team through problem definition, issue identification and work plan development using problem solving principles and past experience while promoting continuous Improvement to raise accuracy, reduce processing time, and enhance reporting.
- Work with leadership on developing the practice through recruiting, training, mentoring, client relationships and serving as a subject matter advisor to the c-suite.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align with delivery of desired service level to the business. Analyze month-end closing findings and ensure staff meets required deadlines.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a Shared Services organization and/or related back office corporate support
- 3+ years of managerial experience
- 2+ years of Recruitment Solutions experience
- Experience with the development of internal control processes and procedures
- Proficiency with Excel, Access, and Word
- MBA or another advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of managing and improving shared services delivery teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects from creation to implementation
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Detail oriented with ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong ability to identify and resolve issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
