Job description / Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Sharepoint Administrator to provide operational administration support for SharePoint Farm, SharePoint Applications, IIS, and SharePoint Windows Systems and as well as to architect, install, configure, maintain, and optimize SharePoint and IIS environments, and implement new SharePoint technologies.
Requirements
- BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent with experience of 5+ years in SharePoint administration, upgrade, migration and maintenance
- In depth knowledge of SharePoint, IIS and Windows Server administration
- In depth knowledge of Windows networking and authentication, particularly Kerberos
- Monitoring of disk space, backups and other repetitive tasks
- IIS Manager and IIS 6/7 architecture
- Server Manager and its functionality
- Active Directory (including LDAP queries)
- DNS, SMTP, MS SQL Server (including SQL queries)
- Understand Network Load Balancing (NLB) architectures
- Knowledge of Windows Firewalls
- Advanced knowledge of Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, and reading SharePoint logs
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
- Advanced skills in resolving SharePoint client computer issues
- Create and maintain InfoPath Forms
- Create and maintain SharePoint Workflow
- Experience with several 3rd party tools used within SharePoint environments
