The RoleThe RoleThe SharePoint Architect serves as the primary individual for analysis, design, development, deployment, and overall project implementation for SharePoint projects and integrating it with Microsoft Enterprise Project management tools and to support the operations of a large project office portfolio. The candidate works closely with other teams involved in the SharePoint project especially with developers to provide custom solutions and web parts as necessary. MAXIMUM SALARY: QAR 20,000 - 25,000 all inclusive+ medical+ ticket+ visa Key Skills Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications in Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) configuration and/or development Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript) is required. Understand customer business requirements and lead to prepare design documents Understand, assess, and propose solutions for resolving customer questions and issues Ability to handle customer discussions effectively from customer site and interact with multiple stakeholders To be able to install the solutions on customer environments and on internal systems To provide technical training and support for other staff and to ensure coordination of activities for other team members. Experience in Web servers configuration and architecture Building Intranet and Internet portals and collaboration solutions using MS SharePoint Converting existing content, sites, and services into SharePoint Integrating the portal with other corporate data sources and applications (including Single Sing-On) Implementation and integration of SharePoint Reporting and Document Management functions Some level of expertise in: SOAP, XML, and SQL Expert level knowledge in the administration, configration, and customization of SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services Self-motivated with the ability to set and meet deadlines on multiple projects without frequent supervision. |
