POSITION SUMMARY

Collecting shipping documents, deal with customers, arrange & help in providing vessels with required services.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Collecting and ensuring all shipping documents were obtained from principals for vessel’s berthing;
Notify customers on vessels’ ETA and actual arrival.
Releasing and/or holding cargoes as per owners, charterers and/or Shipping Manager’s instructions;
Distributing shipping documents to the relevant governmental departments.
Upon discharge/loading completion, ensuring to obtain Port and customs clearance
Arrange providing necessary services to the ship including bunkering, freshwater, provisions, etc. through the appropriate suppliers and after receiving approval from the Shipping Manager

1- Attending the vessel daily and regularly to ensure all ship’s requirements are fulfilled
2- Resolving all documentation problems
3- Prepare Notice of arrival from shipping agency & submit it to Port & customs authorities
4- Submit request for berth in port & request to SPC / Obtain health & plant certificates
5- Submit daily certificates of weight to Port authorities after loading - unloading

2- Detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills;

3- Think strategically and analytically. Have ability to work under pressure and maintain self control, work cooperatively with others;

4- Have the ability to understand and implements HSE policy and procedures.
