Show Manager/Sales Manager is required by a leading Events, Exhibitions and Conferencing organisation based in the UAE.
You will take ownership of selling high end and high quality trade shows, thus will have excellent exposure of the market and client segmentation. You will take full responsibility for ensuring that all targets including revenues are met.
•The role includes Planning & Executing sales activities leading towards exhibitor acquisition (including e-selling, telesales, face to face meeting with the clients, presentations, e-mail shots and administration)
•Delivering regular sales reports to the management and should be able to work on CRM program
•Key account management.
•Assisting PR, marketing team and operation process to ensure the quality of manuals, catalogues brochures, press releases, web page, and visitor marketing
•Attending international trade fairs in order to attract new exhibitors
Show Management Responsibilities:
•Project and Exhibition Management (pre, live and post exhibition)
•Full Budget Responsibility
•Forecasting & Reporting
•Sales, develop existing and new customers, responsible for an annual sales revenue
•Market research, business development and implementation of new sections into the show
•Key Account Management (exhibitors, associations, government)
•Handling of Suppliers (agencies, contractors, catering, etc.)
•Coordinating Marketing and PR activities (all kind of below- and above-the-line marketing)
•Monitoring and attending competitive exhibitions, worldwide
•Responsible for Team Management
•You will be required to Manage 2 to 4 shows and lead up to 4 to 6 staff.
•You will be accountable for the following;
- Customer Focus
- Business Development
- People Management
- Team Focus and Management
•Strong previous exposure of events, exhibitions and conferences would be highly desirable.
•Willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
•Very good command of English oral and in writing.
•At least 2-3 years’ experience in Sales & Show Management, preferably in the exhibition business
•Prior experience in project management
•Willingness to work hard in a dynamic market
•Motivated by a target-orientated, team, sales environment
•Ability to work on own initiative and to think outside the box
•Openness towards other cultures and customs
•Result-oriented person with strong negotiating skills
