Site Architect

Job description / Role

• Monitor and ensure to deliver project completion efficiently on the given construction schedule.
• Develop policies and procedures, design and construction standards and ensures implementation.
• Prepare all architectural correspondence, reports and schedules.
• Review architectural shop drawings to ensure that design specifications are coordinated properly with all the disciplines.
• Attend regular meetings to review and coordinates the project progress in resolving site issues such as drawing discrepancies, violations related to architectural and ID.
• Regular follow up with contractor's agreement to deliver the work on schedule.
• Regular follow up with all personnel involve in the project to ensure necessary actions are implemented promptly to avoid interval on the given schedule.
• Regular site visit, inspection and provides expert solutions to construction issues.
• Prepare detailed report for quality assurance in accordance to site visits and inspections.
• Manage financial concerns to ensure the project site works are acceptable and executed on schedule.
• Responsible for material selection in terms of quality relevant to the design specifications and building theme.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• Project Management certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years experience on site with international and middle east design consultancy or contracting firms.
• Computer literate in AutoCAD, MS office and other design application software.
• Ability to present letters, schedules in formal and organized manner.
• Excellent in preparing architectural specification, bill of quantity and construction details
• Have general knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Well experienced to analyze and evaluate prices.
• Proficient in management and communication skills.
• Performs and complete task on time even under pressure.
