Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a multinational project management consultancy working on a large complex development in Qatar. With their HQ in Europe, our client is a leader in planning and consulting, overseeing projects across the globe. They are currently working on a futuristic and what will be an iconic city for the World Cup 2022.
This will be a site based role where the main purpose is to perform all duties related to architectural activities. You will closely monitor site and design activities during the construction works to ensure quality of work is in line with shop drawings and the design. You will coordinate architectural design drawings with Civil and MEP Departments delivering technical solutions related to the architectural plan. In addition, you will provide help and advice in the preparation of snag lists, mark up changes on site, and highlight defects by carrying out regular site inspections.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be Degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience working in the GCC region. You should have a minimum of 3 years' on-site experience as a Site Architect within the construction of buildings. It is essential you have excellent communication skills, are proficient in English (both written and verbal) and have strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
