Site Architect - Major Airport Terminal Build Program

We have been appointed to recruit the Site Supervision team for a Major Regional Airport Expansion Project.

At the moment the project in confidential until we have the mobilization dates and manpower program in place.

The first draft of appointments will be from December 14th 2014. As such we are looking to appoint a number of disciplines to the scheme to act as the Lead Site team for the Engineers and designers and represent the client in the delivery of the project.

The Architect is required for shop drawing approval and inspections and co-ordination and approval of on site design management.

Detail design and construction documentation experience.

Ability to take responsibility for a package of work from schematic design through to detail design and construction documentation.

Packages include: Elevations, Sections, details, Partitions, stairs, door and window schedules, finishes schedules, etc

Terminal Building design, planning and detailing.

Coordination with MEP services and structural co-ordination.

Leading a team of architectural/ Interiors/ Inspection and engineering staff both site based and office locations.

Monitoring and guiding junior staff monitoring general design and AutoCAD, general site skills.

Producing a range of drawing types for onsite.

Preparing written reports to accompany design changes/ alterations etc.

Supervising and inspecting work and safety on site.

Leading regular design team meetings on site and in the office.

Liaising with statutory bodies for construction / power / water / quality assurance ensuring all files up to date and carrying out internal audits of other architects and team projects

Requirements

- Degree in Architecture (RIBA III Level)
- 15 years in Architecture design of major build projects in large Scale buildings such as Airport terminals, Convention Centres, Hospitals, etc.
- Excellent, client skills and ability to work with client in early stages of presentation and sketching.
- Excellent free hand deign and sketch ability.
- Experienced in leading a design Team from CAD to other Junior Architects.
- REVIT and CAD Proficient
