Site Civil Engineer

Job description / Role

We are currently looking for a Civil Engineer to work on our King Abdullah Economic City Project in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jeddah.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate 5+ years of experience of working as a civil engineer, a minimum 2 - 3 years experience of working on major infrastructure site project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to the Senior Civil Engineer, Associate Civil Engineer and the Project Director.

Requirements

- A proven track record in civil design, and related infrastructure.
- Experience of working in a fast moving engineering consultancy environment (ideally including Middle East experience)
- A high level of technical capability and attention to detail
- A good academic background with a civil engineering degree
- A minimum of 5+ years experience in the civil engineering field
- Achieved chartered status (or equivalent) within a relevant professional association
- A high level of numeracy and attention to details with the ability to self check and produce accurate work
- Good written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise report writing will be required)
- Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with Clients
- Willingness to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment
- Experience and confidence in using written and spoken English within a business environment
- Site Experience
- Ability to work with and lead a team of engineer
