Atkins is positioned to play an important role, providing technical solutions to many of the challenges presented by this vital development programme As part of our regional growth plans, we are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer – Civil/ Structures. The Site Engineer – Civil / Structures will: Report to the Resident Engineer - Structures and will be assisted by the highways inspectors and land surveyors. Assist in checking the contractor’s submissions and shop drawings. Assist in responding to the contractor’s requests for information. Liaise with the inspectors, surveyors and materials inspectors with regard to the timely processing of the requests for inspection (RFI) to ensure there are no undue delays. Liaise with the Senior Site Engineer - Utilities to ensure that there are no programming conflicts with utility diversions Assist the Planning Engineer to prepare the monthly status reports. RequirementsRequirementsRequirements The Site Engineer – Civil/Structures will be a qualified professional who must have a minimum qualification BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent, have Chartered status and comes with total fifteen years of experience. In which (8) years experience in consultancy services and (5) years being similar to this project/role, and (2) years in Saudi Arabia. This person will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Atkins reputation with our clients and developing effective long term client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group. |
