Job description / Role
- Carry out Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities such as air balancing, water balancing, HVAC system
- Attend and rectify timely all kinds of break downs related with Central HVAC systems especially chillers and large installations.
- Trouble shoots the electrical and control faults of the chillers and large HVAC units.
- Display highest standards of HSE on sites.
- Supervise Mechanical jobs based on shop drawings and specifications.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and assess them against the project schedule.
- Provide input to Quantity Surveyor for interim payment applications.
- Coordinate with civil and mechanical work.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC ducting and piping drawings, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.
- Supervises Installation of HVAC equipments like Chillers, Air handling units, DX ducted unit, VRF units, Ventilation fans, Chilled water pumps and refrigeration systems and components.
- Supervises Installation of refrigerant copper piping, chilled water piping, insulation and electrical control cabling.
- Supervise Pressure tests and vacuuming of DX system.
