Job description / Role
To manage the overall installation of M/E/P works relevant to your appointed contract/areas and measure the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery team ensuring the the deliverable is carried out within the relevant cost and QA/QC requirements expected from senior management.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage daily deliverables and issue the required Time & Motion – Cost V Allowables to the relevant Site Supervisors/Foreman and accrue information to report up the line.
Have a full understanding of base QA/QC with a zero tolerance for repeat works.
Make sure that all Method Statements & Risk Assesments are in line with company HSE procedures and suit the relevant Consultants requirements and recorded on a usable platform - issue to the relevant Supervisors/QA/QC Engineers & Foreman.
Make sure that the programme is adhered to and all Material and Tooling requirements are monitored and delivered to secure the relevant completion dates.
Control the disemination of contractual documents (drawings/contracts/specifications) – Supervisors & Foreman must have usable marked up drawings and weekly objectives.
Issue a weekly progress report and contract summary to your line managers detailing progress and items that are problematic or require senior level intervention.
Monitor Long Lead Item Schedule and make sure site requirements are reflected and reported to the Construction team as to understand the overall impact to works.
Manage Construction RFI Register – Actual problems reported from site to In-house & External Engineering team.
Requirements
Must be degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering qualified.
Must have a minimum of 6 years experience in MEP/ Construction field.
Experience working within MEP Contracting in the UAE preferred.
