Job description / Role
- Able to Lead and manage a team of Asst. managers, engineers or supervisors for traffic management works in viaduct & stations construction of around 42 kms stretch.
- Provide leadership for the safety, accident prevention and fire prevention initiatives to maintain health and safety regulations.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain constant contact between client and subcontractors.
- Co-ordination and advance planning for getting approvals & permits for traffic diversion with concerned authorities to ensure uninterrupted field work.
- Attending construction/implementation reviews, quality and safety review meetings and communicate to the project team in a timely and effective manner.
- Make arrangements for suitable inspections/ audits at appropriate frequencies in regard to safety, quality, design compliance, functionality and commissioning.
- Finalize implementation strategies for work methods and have these implemented effectively.
- Arranging & managing various resources to ensure appropriate construction management support to the execution
- Knowledge in traffic management like preparing traffic control plan, providing traffic diversions, temp. access roads, alternate driveway access during via duct and station construction.
- Thorough knowledge in project logistics plan to ensure minimum traffic and safety requirements to ensure uninterrupted public vehicle movement.
Requirements
- 10 years experience for University Degree holders / 15 years experience for Diploma holders in General civil construction field of value not less than $100M.
- Minimum 5 years experience in execution of major infrastructure projects like metro rail viaducts, elevated corridors, bridges and flyovers is essential.
- Should possess experience of leading multi-disciplinary team.
- Candidates with working experience in GCC countries & KSA is preferable
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge in Primavera, MS Project, Microsoft excel, word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Languages English and fluency in Arabic language (to read / speak / write) is essential
- Conversant with local traffic rules of KSA
