Parkhouse Bell is delighted to be recruiting for the role of site manager on behalf of our client involved in the colleges of excellence programme.
Reporting to the director of facilities and estates, the site manager will be responsible for the overall responsibility for the management of the college, its environment and its estate.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day management of the college and its estate.
- Procure new contractors where required.
- Performance manage existing contractors, taking steps and devising action plans to improve quality of service as required.
- Terminate contracts where services do not meet required standards and show no improvement over time.
- Keep up to date with the law governing health and safety at work and for educational institutions, and ensure all staff are fully aware of and comply with the requirements.
In addition you must undertake professional development reviews as appropriate and ensure that the colleges health and safety policy is followed.
