Job description / Role
We are recruiting Site Supervision Engineers for a successful international company in Abu Dhabi. This is a permanent job opportunity suitable for professionals with experience in supervision of the teams on site and with skills in co-ordinating infrastructure operations for installation and maintenance of security sensors. Ideal candidate for this job role will be responsible for monitoring the progress on site, assisting the subcontractors in technical questions, oversee security sensors installation and maintenance and ensures the quality of work and the proper execution of work according to project requirements.
Job responsibilities:
• The Site Supervision Engineer will assist the Project manager and liaise with procurement manager and logistics to ensure that all deliveries are in place
• Responsible for managing the subcontractors on day to day basis to achieve the program results
• Highlight and manage necessary design changes at site in cooperation with design engineer
• Manage Handover certificates for his discipline and sites
Requirements
• Civil Engineering Degree
• At least 4 years of experience in infrastructure site management of civil work, including security sensors installation and maintenance
• IT skills - MS Word and MS Excel, Visio, preferred AutoCAD experience, monitoring techniques, Safe Working processes, Quality process
• Experience in progress monitoring alongside program delivery
• Experience in Middle East environment and fast track projects
• Ability to work under pressure and to solve practical problems
• Ability to interpret variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Experience in multi-cultural environment
• The candidate must be healthy with strong physical abilities for the works at site
