The RoleThe RoleOur client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organisations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Site Supervision Engineer to their UAE team. Our employer seeks a proven performer to assist on their main projects in the region, which include the implementation of advanced integrated security solutions for critical assets, safe city and border protection. Your responsibilities in this role will include: Assist the Project Manager, in close cooperation with the Procurement Manager and Logistics to ensure all deliveries are in place to progress the work in time and to program specifications Day-to-day management of subcontractors to achieve the program Manage any deviations from the plan in terms of program, quality of works, changes in design and highlight these to the Project Manager seeking a mitigation plan and advice Highlight and manage necessary design changes at site in cooperation with the Design Engineer Manage handover certificates for your sites Provide daily / weekly progress reports as required by the customer |
RequirementsRequirementsEssential attributes include: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or other relevant field Minimum 4 years experience in infrastructure site management of civil work Previous supervision experience in a similar role Previous experience in progress monitoring alongside a delivery program Previous experience in the Middle East on fast track projects is highly regarded Experience with MS Word and Excel, Visio with AutoCAD experience highly regarded Experience with monitoring techniques, safe work processes and quality processes Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential Excellent English verbal, reading and writing skills is essential; Arabic skills would be highly regarded Current drivers licence is essential A competitive salary package will be provided to attract top candidates to the role.
