Site Supervisor

Job description / Role

Our client is a leader in Qatars booming construction industry. They need a site supervisor to work with ongoing contracting projects throughout Qatar. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term position with a growing company in the Qatari construction business.

Responsibilities:

Provides specialist services in support of project requirements. Independently performs highly complex professional assignments demanding contributions calling for the application of specialised principles.
Ensure that all of the building civil maintenance and owner project coordination are planned and performed using best industry practices.
Reports and review issues, concerns, work practices, SOP and guidelines to ensure effective operations, maintenance and safety of all systems and machinery.
Review the drawings and designs for civil works.
Supervise site with large budget worth hundreds of millios of US dollars.
Qualified professional who can manage and coordinate specialised activity, discipline or team of moderate size and complexity. Leads in the formulation of advanced technical concepts.

Requirements

Requirements:

International Experience (Middle-East) of working in Engineering Management Firm or in a construction site environment.
5 years in similar large-scale Infrastructure Projects or Rail Transport Systems.
Excellent oral and written English language.
Tunnelling experience , with a structural background with a reference knowledge in TBM
Strong Communication (written and oral) skills.
Computer Proficiency (MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint).
