The RoleThe RoleAl-Futtaim Motors are the sole distributors for Toyota, Lexus and Hino brands in the UAE. Since the company's inception in 1955 it holds the pre-eminent position of being the largest distributor of automotive products and services in the UAE. We also hold the distinction of being one of the largest private conglomerates in the gulf region. The HINO brand is represented in the UAE by Al Futtaim Motors since 1985. Hino Division strives to be the first choice provider of products and services to the road transport industry within the United Arab Emirates by providing outstanding quality in our range of products and services. We are the only recognized and established distributor in the UAE who can boast of offering a complete range of Light, Medium and Heavy duty trucks to suit all logistical requirements. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Site/Service Manager to work from our Dubai based operations. Reporting to the Service Manager - Commercial Division, you will be responsible for planning and managing all commercial and forklift service related matters at branch level. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: Creating a logical flow of vehicles and parts within the operation so as to maximize productivity and efficiency Specifying correct tooling and equipment for the service and repair of the complete range of Hino vehicles sold Developing an organizational structure for parts and service which is in line with units in operation for the particular site Recruiting and training of all staff in the service and parts area of the business to ensure the delivery of end result in terms of customer satisfaction, service turnover and profit Implementing HINO quality standards as stipulated and overviewed by Hino Motors Limited from time to time Conducting service and parts marketing to maximize capture rate of potential business and to achieve sales/profit targets Managing overall income and expenses so as to maximize contribution to total cost absorption Implementing corrective customer satisfaction actions in those areas highlighted by the customer satisfaction index Improving and promoting service contracts with selected transport operators with the objective of maximizing profits and customer satisfaction Managing a concern that adheres to the national health and safety standards/regulations of the UAE Continuously training the employees in terms of latest technical developments, new equipment, new products and/or improving productivity and efficiency. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo apply for this role you should have the following skills, experiences and qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in the servicing of trucks and parts business Good technical knowledge of Commercial vehicles, forklifts and warehouse equipment Good understanding of the layout of service and parts infrastructure as well as systems/procedures and policies apparent to after market activities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to make sound and swift decisions Problem solving skills |
