Social Media Director

Job description / Role

Our client is looking for an exceptional social media player to join their leading communications agency and help run the social media output for the Dubai team.

You will be responsible for developing their social media proposition as well as managing and executing multiple campaigns across a range of clients as well as pitching for new business. You will also contribute to the definition of best practice and development of processes for their social media offering. This is a growing department looking for passion backed by solid experience of strategic social planning and digital production to deliver award-winning campaigns.

Your Role
• Lead social strategy & planning for clients
• Provide innovative responses to briefs with a strategic approach
• Deliver strategies which meet client’s overall business goals and align with their communication strategy
• Support Business Directors with new business pitches
• Approach all planning with a discover, design, deliver approach
• Ensure KPI’s and key project milestones are met and exceeded

Requirements

You will need a solid background within social media, with local experience. This is a client facing role so you must have experience with presenting and pitching for business. A background within a communications agency would be a big bonus.
