Our client, an expanding retail organisation based in Dubai, are currently looking for Social Media Executive to join their team.

The ideal candidate for this role must have knowledge of how to manage, promote and write content for online channels, must have experience in liaising with a team of buyers and merchandisers, with a strong social media awareness.

You are also expected to have sound knowledge of content creation, content management systems and user interaction in an online environment. In addition, you must have a wide range of experience in using research and data, to help guide in decision making.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

Have acute understanding of social media channels - both mainstream and emerging with an insight into target demographics for all networks.
Have knowledge of the blogosphere, online influencers and blogger engagement
Understand the principles of online marketing and be digitally savvy
Understand and be able to interact with the target audience in an online environment
Be the online ambassador for the brand and keep conversations consistent in tone of voice, following social media policy guidelines
Build and maintain online content distribution network using social media channels
Have minute by minute participation in conversations that surround our content and brand
Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the brand and report to the relevant team members
Optimize tags and titles through copywriting - both creative & keyword optimization
Have an understanding of how specific words chosen impact natural search traffic and rankings
Know how to report on, and analyse, activity and campaigns in order to make recommendations to improve performance.
