Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- The Social Media Manager will report to the Marketing Manager and will be in-charge of the following duties:
- The Social Media Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing a social media strategy for 2 high profile retail properties in line with the overall Marketing plan;
- She will be responsible for identifying all required means to optimize engagement with the right target audiences residing in Abu Dhabi and build strong relation;
- The social media manager will be responsible for the brands image and will have to ensure the right tone and feel are used at all times, peoples expectations are managed and crisis management is implemented wherever necessary;
- The social media manager will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting competition and trends;
- The social media manager will be expected to recommend activations, source out appropriate content and interact with the right groups, ambassadors, influences and bloggers to widen reach.

Requirements

- 3-5 years in marketing/publishing with at least 2-3 years of social media experience in the UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
- Experience working in retail or with luxury brands
- Social media agency or digital agency experience would be an advantage
- Bilingual. Proficiency in Arabic and English are a must.
- Understanding of the Abu Dhabi Market.
- Deep knowledge of social media tools and ways.
- Understanding of how messaging and content differs across social media channels.
- Self-motivated, dynamic, social
- Interest in fashion is an advantage
