Social Media Manager - Jeddah

Summary
You will possess a unique blend of skills, with primary strengths in community management and a proven history of crafting successful, insight-driven online communities in partnership with clients. This role of Community Manager/Social Strategist will work within key platforms to manage a unique online community, supply consulting on social media strategy and provide support and training to key stakeholders. They will join a regional dynamic and innovative team working on an innovative blue chip technology company, with the opportunity to undertake ground breaking social initiatives.

Across the region the practice is comprised of 15 experts in social media strategy, interactive design and programming, and social media measurement.

Responsibilities
• The Community Manager is responsible for working with the client to source and develop content for social media channels.
• Work directly with select account(s) to develop content plans for taking campaigns into social media environments, as well as broader thinking on making a client’s brand “more social”
• They will build and maintain relationships with social influencers and key communities, managing these important relationships to develop brand advocacy across the business categories.
• Monitor, analyze, manage and report on social media activity using different analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Radian6 and others.
• Be a strong project manager with an understanding of existing and emerging digital platforms and technology.
• Identify social media opportunities with existing clients and business partners to cultivate opportunities
• Maintain awareness of all activity across clients marketing channels to ensure consistency across brand messaging.
• Take key learnings/insights from the social media platforms and play a strategic role across all channels.
• Ensure the quality of the community is managed to high standards. Ensuring ‘flawless execution’ of all client deliverables and proactive engagement.

More tangible responsibilities will include:
• Monthly content plan across categories and channels
• Content Management
• Repurpose / write and post copy sourced or provided by client
• Daily posts (across Twitter/Facebook/Linkedin/Tumblr)
• Manage creative resources to develop content
• Listening, Insight generation and outreach
• Listening to conversation
• Blogger outreach
• Monitoring customer complaints
• Monitoring customer feedback
• Coordinating responses with client
• Providing insights to larger team
• Crisis Management
• Alert broader team of risks of crisis or backlash across channels
• Recommend and assist with appropriate crisis management plan
• Analytics and reporting
• Monthly reports for channel activity

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience
• At least 2 -to-3 years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands
• Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
• Must be able to work in a multi-discipline collaborative environment. The candidate must have a deep knowledge of social media technologies, platforms(LinkedIn focus) and services.
• Team integration and client facing experience a must.
• B2B experience across the technology category will be beneficial
