Social Media Manager - Global Company - KSA
One of the leading Media Agencies seeks a Social Media Manager to manage an exciting portfolio of clients in the MENA region. Position is based in Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage day-to-day communications, creative development and production
• Maintain all social network communications -- Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.
• Communicate key themes and messaging that matches clients’ mission, marketing programs, product launches, campaigns, etc.
• Conceptualize, launch, and measure new campaigns/promotions in support of marketing & brand initiatives
• Develop, implement and manage innovative ideas/promotions to drive greater relevance, engagement, and grow external communities
• Lead on-going optimization efforts and refinement of the weekly and monthly reporting to drive greater insights and efficiency
• Initiate influencer program to identify, leverage, and track brand evangelists amongst social media community
• Manage relationships with key bloggers and come up with new relationships
• Listen to and monitor all social media outlets: pages, sites, blogs, etc. on daily basis and act as Community Manager
• Recommend new social media tools, sites, and applications as part of the social media mix
• Be ahead of all emerging social and mobile trends
Requirements
Skills
• Minimum of 3-5 years in online marketing with the last 1-2 years deeply immersed in social media strategy & execution
• Well acquainted with web 2.0 tools and platforms for social media (in-depth knowledge of Twitter & Facebook, online communities in MENA, Hootsuite, Klout, etc.)
• Exceptional project & time management skills
• Super-strong communication, writing, and editing skills in English
• Excellent strategic planning, analytic and research skills
• Demonstrated ability of developing and implementing social strategies
• Knowledge and understanding of technology, new consumer trends, and the latest in social media innovation
• Experience managing agency relationships a plus
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
A keen understanding of social media platforms.
Education
Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, advertising, PR
Candidates from leading markets of Europe / U.S / Canada / Australia / New Zealand would be highly considered.
