Software Developer (6 month rolling contract)

The role of the .NET Developer will be to work with the development team to help develop proprietary software solutions on a .NET and SQL Server technology stack.

Responsible for doing development based on project needs including modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems. Supports the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables.

Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests web based applications that support business units or supporting functions. Utilizes knowledge of technological alternatives, business requirements, and business environments to build technology solutions.

Will collaborate with team programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with technical, business, and management staff. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external clients. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a highly energized and fast-paced environment within a framework of constantly shifting deadlines and deliverables. High degree of initiative and independent judgment

Requirements

Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, IIS, XML and SOAP in a multi-tier environment
Experience with SQL Server, as an application backend including TSQL, dynamic SQL, Stored Procedures, triggers, and functions.
Experience developing advanced reports in SQLServer Reporting Services.

Strong understanding of web design concepts: usability, page layout, and navigational structures.
