The RoleThe Role Provide technical guidance and oversee a small to medium size team of software engineers for the design, development and maintenance of a suite of Real Estate & Facility Management applications. Prime responsibilities include the system architecture and technical design. You are also expected to actively participate in the actual development work. Plan, coordinate and lead the team in accomplishing work activities Establish best practices for software applications delivery and product release management. Liaise effectively with the team of Business Analysts and end users to understand business needs, analyze problems and develop solutions. Participate the requirements review and design. Oversee the development and testing and ensure timely delivery in accordance with the pre-agreed priorities. Report project performance information. Proactively influence factors that may have negative impact on schedules, budget and quality. |
RequirementsRequirements 6-8 years hands-on application development and maintenance experience. Strong technical background. Experience with system architectures and proficiency in technology areas such as .NET, MS SQL Server, Web Services; At least 5 years in a Project management position. Ability to conduct technology assessments and exploit leading technologies for implementation; Strong Project / Program management and Software Release Management skills. Prior experience with Agile development methodology will be a strong advantage. Quality conscious, and result-oriented with good leading skills; Excellent English speaking and writing abilities and strong documentation skills. |
