Job description / Role
Position Summary:
The Software System Engineer (SSE) is involved in all technical (software oriented), system engineering and product management activities through all Software (SW) development lifecycle. The SSE is responsible for functional and technical requirements specification of an enterprise, large scale SW products in the field of command and control (C4i) and security. You will be responsible on monitoring product development deliverables (content and quality).
Responsibilities
- Writing of product specification documents (SSS, SRS, interface specifications levels, UI specifications)
- Reviewing and approving functional product specification and quality documents (SSS, SRSs, interfaces specifications, test plans, FAT, SAT)
- Responsible of examining and choosing external subsystems and 3rd party solutions (based on functional and technical aspects)
- Involvement in all product development and deployment lifecycle
- Involvement in product development and deployment work plan
Requirements
Education / Certification Requirements:
- Education: B.Sc. in information systems / computer science / industrial engineering
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in .NET environment (.NET 3.5\4.0\4.5, C#)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Microsoft web based client side development (IIS, ASP.NET, AJAX, Silverlight)
- Minimum of 3 years of experienced in WCF, web services development
- Familiar with a diverse set of network topologies, network architectures and network devices
- Firm background in product requirement definition
- Firm experience in all product development lifecycle (from requirements, through design, development and testing, till product deployment in customer sites)
- Experience in command and control (C4I), security or intelligence system
- Experience in video management, GIS and record and replay systems
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a system engineer / product manager / marketing
- Past experience in SW development (as a developer, a team leader)
