The Role


The Role


Solutions Architect is required by a leading global IT Vendor to join a growing core professional services team working alongside business consultants performing Pre-Sales, Business Analysis, and Solution Design for wide range of technology solutions. You will be covering the MEA region and be required to align / reengineer key business processes within a client, such as intelligence and case management. The Solution Architect must then design a solution that meet the process requirements and manage a technical team to deliver it.

For this position you will be an experienced Architecture professional with a background in enabling business through provision of solutions and systems that provide insight to customers and have driven business value. You will have experience gained at a IT Vendor, Systems Integrator or an IT Consultancy.

The Solution Architect will provide expertise and promote best practice across the organizations solutions footprint, and assist in the evaluation of emerging products and technologies.

You will also provide a framework for the delivery of an integrated solution, articulating the solution using structured processes and methods. Works under general direction within clear framework of accountability. Exercises substantial personal responsibility and autonomy. Plans own work to meet given objectives and processes.

The Solutions Architect will also assist during the sales cycle by participating in workshops and meetings, and providing input to bids and proposals. You will also Influence the internal team, specialist peers as well as influencing customers at account and supplier level. You will have had some responsibility for the work of others and for the allocation of resources on small to medium sized projects within technical area of specialism. The Solution Architect will participate in external activities related to own specialism and also makes decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives.

For this role you will have experience in delivering IT solutions in some of the following technical arenas; ERP, Software, Data warehouse, CRM or Business Intelligence in large scale IT Projects. You must have exposure of working in the ME region and have had previous experience of working with Governments, Municipalities, and Public Sector domain, having had proven experience to dealing with and delivering to senior end stakeholders.
