The Role


The Role


Solutions Presales specialist required for a MNC based in J'burg, South Africa.

The role involves assisting sales specialists in selling my clients full range of solutions. The successful candidate will be providing proactive leadership and assistance in promoting offerings, planning workshops, providing support and research in seeking and developing new business and sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Meet the set sales targets for Solutions Network (recurring and outright) in the allocated territory (Africa).
• Supports solution sales and specialists in finding and progressing Solutions opportunities in the allocated territory
• Work with Account Managers and Solution Specialists to develop and execute sales strategies for new and existing accounts.
• Conduct client presentations and workshops on specific solutions sets
• Collect and share competitive intelligence
• Work with Segments and Marketing teams to enhance existing client solutions in the allocated territory
• Provide feedback to stakeholders (Solutions Sales and Specialists, Practice Leads, and the Strategic Business Units) to enhance product offering.

Qualifications

Finance, MBA, Economics, Computer Science

Required skills:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial solutions and technology
Proven sales track record or ability in promoting complex enterprise data and solutions
Ability to demonstrate to customers the value proposition and the benefits of the proposed solutions
Highly ambitious with a desire to be a trusted advisor to the region's biggest players.
Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative to seek, qualify, run and close business opportunities.
Good understanding of the financial markets.
Good understanding of the solution sets
Must be able to provide a high level of customer service.
Must have good communication skills and be a strong team player.
Ability to prepare and present professional proposals, responses to RFIs and RFPs.
Proficient in English
Travel is required but limited
