The Role


The Role


The role involves selling the full range of my clients Eletronic Trading Solutions across his allocated territory. The successful candidate will be championing and providing proactive leadership in promoting these offerings, seeking and developing new business and driving competitive sales opportunities.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Meet the assigned sales targets for Solutions (recurring and outright) in the allocated territory
- Owner of the growth and progress of Electronic Trading Solutions pipeline in the allocated territory
- Works with Account Managers, Solution Sales and Specialists to develop and execute sales strategies for Thomson Reuters accounts.
- Conduct client presentations on specific solutions sets
- Develop and maintain C/management level client relationships.
- Collect and share competitive intelligence.
- Work with Marketing teams to organize events, generate leads and build the brand in the allocated territory
- Provide feedback to stakeholders (Solutions Specialists, Practice Leads, and the Strategic Business Units) to enhance the related offering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years' experience in financial solutions (electronic trading) and products.
Proven sales track record or ability in promoting complex financial solutions
Ability to demonstrate to customers the value proposition and the benefits of the proposed solutions
Highly ambitious with a desire to be a trusted advisor to the region's biggest players.
Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative to seek, qualify, run and close business opportunities.
Good understanding of the financial markets and technology offerings in the trading space (specifically FX).
Must have excellent knowledge of SPIN, VBS sales techniques
Must be able to build strong client relationships and provide a high level of customer service.
Must have superior communication and negotiating skills and be a strong team player.
Able to prepare and present professional proposals, and manage RFIs and RFPs.
Proficient in English
South African nationals are only being considered for this post.
