Thomson Reuters is currently looking for a Solution Sales Specialist, based in Riyadh, to represent our Finance and Risk business.
This role is responsible for mastering the Thomson Reuters Solutions offering and pro-actively selling it to a specific customer in the MENA region.
Providing input (feedback from customers) to segments on product content and functionality.
Responsible for generating gross sales and new revenue, within existing relationships, by leveraging Thomson Reuters Solutions suite of products and services bringing "the value of the whole firm" to our customers.

The Solution Sales Specialist will be responsible for:
- Delivering profitable outright, consulting & subscription revenue for selected solutions, products & services.
- Accountable for all stages of an opportunity from lead generation to closely aligning tightly with the overall account strategy owned by the account manager.
- Expert in customer business workflow providing domain expertise relative to solution proposition.
- Work together with the account team to ensure solutions provided enhance customer satisfaction.
- Cross-channel function, building on expert knowledge to target client base, recognize client needs and propose solution.
- Develop senior level customer relationships to become a trusted business advisor

Requirements

- University Degree in any related field, CFA Certification is a plus.
- Previous Experience with Financial Markets and Services software and solutions.
- Understanding of market variations across geographies and the cultural issues that affect buying and consumer behavior.
- Understand levers available to increase sales and to apply these principles to support TR's strategies.
- Knows finance, marketing, and operations drivers behind customer decisions.
- Highly skilled at demonstrating the unique value created by TR's offering and making the business case as to how TR's offering is uniquely differentiated.
- Highly adept at considering customer's larger business and strategic challenges in an enterprise-wide context and how they might be addressed through TR offering.
- Strong entrepreneurial self-starter skills as well as a deep understanding of their market.
- Ability to engage with TR's largest customers at a senior level in order to craft high-value enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication, influencing, persuasion, negotiation and team working skills.
- Strong customer-focus mindset and high work ethic
- Ability to understand client's business model, workflows, strategic objectives, pain points, and be able to provide solutions and products that meet expectations. Understand the particular market segment or relevant asset class implications and build this into the client offering.
- Specific key strength in understanding Buy-side & Sell-side customers and their workflow.
